Finance Department

The role of the FSWS Finance D​epartment is the monitoring and management of the matter of the finances of the entire FSWS group and its entities. The primary duties include: 

  • updating books of accounts; 
  • internal controls; 
  • payments to creditors; 
  • payroll; 
  • issuing invoices to our service users; 
  • dealing with issues from administration departments in other agencies; 
  • producing monthly management accounts and other reports as required by MFIN; 
  • creating yearly budgets and projections as required by MFIN and based on these figures the MFIN then determines the amount of funding needed by the FSWS; and 
  • liaising with external auditors to complete the yearly statutory audit.
