The role of the FSWS Finance Department is the monitoring and management of the matter of the finances of the entire FSWS group and its entities. The primary duties include:
- updating books of accounts;
- internal controls;
- payments to creditors;
- payroll;
- issuing invoices to our service users;
- dealing with issues from administration departments in other agencies;
- producing monthly management accounts and other reports as required by MFIN;
- creating yearly budgets and projections as required by MFIN and based on these figures the MFIN then determines the amount of funding needed by the FSWS; and
- liaising with external auditors to complete the yearly statutory audit.
