Embark
for life addresses the needs of young people who are at risk of social
exclusion. These include youth between the ages of 15 and 25, who, for various
reasons and life situations, face difficulties in finding or maintaining
employment.
Furthermore, the service also aims at empowering youths to participate in
educational programmes to become more employable. The service
seeks to support young people to live as independently as possible within their
communities and improve their standard of living. This service is
provided to a number of young people coming from and experiencing different
realities.
These range from addiction, family dynamics, mental health issues,
problems with the law, emotional instability, and behavioural difficulties,
amongst others. In order to address these goals, professionals from Embark
for Life work individually with young people while providing them with the
information and support they need.
