The Psychological Services offer a generic service and hosts an interdisciplinary team made up of Psychologists, Family Therapists, Psychotherapists and Counsellors.
The mission of the Psychological Services is to offer therapeutic support and containment to minors, adults, couples, and families in distress, whether undergoing severe trauma, abuse, substance abuse and other losses which may affect a person’s level of functioning. It also aims at backing professional staff to continue to grow personally and professionally in an attempt to avoid burnout and offer a more holistic approach to service users.
The service also offers Positive Parenting Courses and Courses for Parenting when Separated.
The Psychological Services envision a community in which every person/family experiences safety, nurtures one-to-one relationships and community support, which in turn allow each of them to develop their full potential, capable of making informed and responsible decisions as involved members of the community.
