Child Protection Services

The Directorate for the Child Protection Services is a newly established entity, nested under the Foundation for Social Welfare Services. It is tasked with investigating reports of child abuse and taking any necessary action to ensure the protection of minors.

Through a highly specialised forensic system, this multi-disciplinary team engages children and their families to determine the web of difficulties that hinder the well-being of the minors. Such assessment equips the workers into developing a bespoke intervention plan, which centres on the best interest of the child that has the primary purpose of removing dangers and re-instituting serenity in the life of the child.
