At a press conference held at Aġenzija Appoġġ, it was announced that stipends for Social Work students are being given high priority. The main aim is to support these students throughout their studies and to strengthen a sustainable, well-prepared workforce for the years ahead.
The press conference was addressed by Dr Michael Falzon, Minister for Social Policy and Children’s Rights; Hon. Clifton Grima, Minister for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation; and Mr Alfred Grixti, Chief Executive Officer of FSWS. Also present was Mr Horace Laudi, Chairperson of the Stipends and Grants Board.
