Appoġġ After Hours Emergency Service
The Out-of-Hours Emergency Service operates on an on-call basis, with its workers intervening when in emergencies that occur outside regular working hours, including weekends. There are various pathways through which a request for service or referral to the Out-of-Hours Emergency Service is received.
The main referring entities are other Aġenzija Appoġġ, the Children’s Directorate (Alternative Care), the Child Protection Directorate, the police, and other entities that refer cases through Supportline 179.
