Children’s Dreams is an independent initiative which is held in collaboration with the Foundation for Social Welfare Services and the Children’s Directorate (Alternative Care) in the Maltese Islands. A number of generous people contribute to this initiative; people have the opportunity to help vulnerable children receive the Christmas gift of their dreams. Without this project, these children’s dreams would probably remain only “dreams”.
The children’s dreams may include wishes, such as a simple meal, an outing to the cinema, or perhaps learning a particular skill or studying a specific profession. Once all the gifts are collected, the respective social workers deliver them to these children. This allows vulnerable children to receive a Christmas gift that would make them happy as all other kids.
