She is a counselling psychologist specialising in adult mental health. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Malta and a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from the Glasgow Caledonian University, United Kingdom. In 2025, she also obtained accreditation as an EMDR Europe Practitioner. She is warranted to practise in both Malta and the UK.
Dr Carachi can offer assessments and psychological therapies. She has worked in various mental health settings in the UK and Malta, including mental health foundations; psychiatric hospitals and educational institutions.
Dr Carachi has worked therapeutically with people of all ages with a variety of mental health problems ranging from moderate to severe complexity. Dr Carachi also has experience working with people from minority groups and diverse cultural backgrounds, and is committed to delivering inclusive, person-centred care.
