A Warranted Public Accountant by profession, Mark J. Zammit joined the Foundation for Social Welfare Services in May 2017 as a Finance Manager. He was conferred with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy and Management and a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) by the University of Malta in 2002 and 2004 respectively. He obtained his warrant for practice as a Certified Public Accountant by the Ministry of Finance in 2007. During the years Mr. Zammit also obtained a Diploma in VAT Compliance and a Diploma in Payroll and Employment Administration.
During his professional career spanning over twenty years, before joining FSWS, Mr Zammit started working as an Accountant in the Private Sector with a retail and distribution company, then he moved to the Public Sector where he worked with the Malta Gaming Authority as an Accountant and Manager in the Finance department. He is a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants.
