The Foundation for Social Welfare Services invites applications for the role of Senior Executive within the FSWS Head Office to join our EU Office.
The Role
The Senior Executive 1 shall be responsible for providing high-level support to the EU Projects Office and overseeing the procurement function within the Foundation. The selected candidate must be familiar with EU regulations and mandatory policies tied to EU processes as applicable to FSWS projects or partnership with other entities. The Senior Executive will be expected to provide strategic back-office support in purchasing operations, maintain accurate records for audit trail and ensure that all administrative aspects of the delegated portfolio are organised, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant policies and procedures. The selected candidate will proactively seek and participate in ongoing training opportunities offered by the Department of Contracts and other regulatory bodies in relation to EU operations within FSWS and other Stake Holders.
The role requires a high degree of initiative, organisational skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently while aligning with the strategic objectives of the Foundation. The Senior Executive 1 will report directly to the Director of Corporate Services or designated delegate and will be expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and efficiency. This position is tied to the remuneration package as per FSWS Collective Agreement Grade 2, with terms and conditions as applicable under Recruitment Policy No.16.
The Persons
The individuals interested in this role shall be in possession of a minimum of MQF Level 6 in Management,Administration, European Studies, or any other comparable and equivalent qualification, coupled with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience related to and EU setting or EU projects.
