The FSWS hosted the annual National Fostering Conference, Hidden in the body: Childhood trauma explained.
The conference featured speeches from the Minister for Social Policy and Children’s Rights, Hon. Dr Michael Falzon , FSWS Chief Executive Officer Alfred Grixti, Director of Alternative Care Remenda Grech and Clinical Psychologist, Dr Rose Galea.
During the event, the FSWS honoured the exceptional work of the Fostering team and dedicated foster carers who provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in need.
We also launched the music video ‘Naf Min Jien!’ written by Dr Kevin Joseph Borg, paediatrician within the Directorate of Alternative Care.
