Conference Titled "Trapped Behind the Scam"
On 30th July, FSWS hosted a conference titled “Trapped Behind the Scam” to mark the National Day Against Trafficking in Persons.
The event formed part of the New Beginnings: Empowering Against Trafficking project, co-funded by the European Union. During the conference, various professionals, representatives of different entities, as well as local and international experts, raised awareness about different forms of human trafficking and exploitation, including fake job advertisements, scam centres, romance and investment scams, as well as violence and debt bondage.
