The service based at the Qormi Health Centre offers a comprehensive package of psychosocial care to service users suffering from mental health difficulties, and their caregivers, to enhance their quality of life. The social workers are part of a multi-disciplinary team of Consultant Psychiatrists, Doctors, Nurses, and Psychologists who provide a service within the community.
Beneficiaries of this service are residents of the clinic’s catchment area – Qormi, Żebbuġ, and Siġġiewi, including service users suffering from mental health difficulties and their carers. The social workers follow the service users and their families through home or office visits, and work with other professionals according to the needs of the service users.
