The Foundation for Social Welfare Services invites applications for the role of Full-Time Youth Worker within the Human Rights Directorate.
The Youth and Community Worker shall be actively seeking to engage and network with the LGBTIQ community, local communities, groups, NGO’s and governmental entities in order to identify any present and arising realities for the LGBTIQ community. These realities shall be addressed through a number of interventions which may be carried out in collaboration with various stakeholders. The selected candidate will also be required to provide mentorship to individuals and families who seek assistance from the LGBTIQ Hub.
The individuals interested in this role shall be in possession of an MQF Level 6 qualification in Youth and Community Studies.
Candidates must ideally be fluent in Maltese and English to be eligible for an interview. Qualifications and experience claimed must be supported by certificates and/or testimonials. Applicants in possession of a foreign qualification/s are to produce with their application, a recognition statement on comparability of qualifications issued by the Malta Qualification Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC). In addition candidates are requested to submit an updated CV together with a recent police conduct, contacts of at least two (2) referees and a copy of their certificates.
